The company is looking for an SDE2 (Software Development Engineer 2) with 3+ years of experience in software development, strong expertise in Python and Django
The outcomes and responsibilities this role will own.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and Django. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services. Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and efficient code. Optimise application performance, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Develop and enhance product features based on customer and business needs. Contribute to technical architecture and engineering decisions. Identify opportunities to improve application functionality and user experience.
Design and optimise database schemas, queries, and data models. Work with relational databases and ensure data integrity. Build reliable and scalable systems capable of supporting business growth. Troubleshoot production issues and improve system stability.
Contribute to frontend development using React.js or Next.js. Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs. Work with design and product teams to deliver responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
Follow coding standards and best practices. Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and technical discussions. Write unit tests and contribute to improving test coverage. Take ownership of assigned features from development through deployment and maintenance.
